The Shekinah Phenomenon

January 16th 1994 something very strange happened at a little assembly near the airport at Toronto in Canada. Randy Clark, who had travelled to Argentina where there had been a revival among the believers in Yeshua HaMoshiach for the previous decade, was the guest speaker at this assembly.

During this meeting people began to experience strange manifestations, the most notable being outbreaks of spontaneous laughter as well as various physical manifestations.

Words of this strange phenomenon had gotten out, and soon people from all over the world including believers from the various traditional denominations and others, visited this place. Many of them experienced the same manifestations. Most significantly, when these people returned to their various assemblies including the traditional denominations, this same phenomenon occured within their meetings.

This soon became known as "The Toronto Blessing" and the phenomenon seemingly propogated from Toronto to the USA, Britain, Australia, and Russia among others.

Some believed this represented a new move of God while others contended this to be of HaSatan representing the falling away of the assemblies.

During the Passover of 1995 I experienced the first inklings of this phenomenon - Rodney Howard-Browne had visited the east coast of Australia, and my pastor flew over to visit him. He came back a changed man, igniting this fire in our assembly meeting.

Soon after Passover, I attended a series of meetings where I experienced this phenomenon first hand, experiencing many of the manifestations.

Through these meetings I did massive teshuvah, reaffirming my commitment to Yeshua HaMoshiach.

My desire to seek out the Hebrew roots of my faith was also re-ignited, beginning a journey which so far has led to the creation of this ministry - Blessed Bereans Ministries - in 2004.

Between 1995 and 2004 I authored a website devoted to "The Toronto Blessing" and it's various offshoots. I closed down the site in 2004, however, a few have stated afterward they missed looking at the website. Therefore I have decided to bring this site back on-line in its original form with few superficial changes.

This is a nostalgic trip back in time, the spark that re-ignited my desires to return to the Hebrew roots of my faith. Keep in mind as you peruse the sites given below that my beliefs and doctrinal viewpoints have evolved since then.

ENJOY!!!!!!!!!!!!
